Meet our wonderful, dedicated, enthusiastic (if I do say so myself…) teachers!
Laurien Tremblay, RECE “Mrs. T” to the “big” kids, and more often than not, just “T” to the little ones.
Executive Director & Preschool Teacher
Mrs. T (that’s me!) has been at Bronte Harbour since way back in October 2006. October 6th, 2006 to be exact! I started out here as supply staff, then moved to the Toddler room, and then took the helm as Executive Director in September 2011. I’ve been in the childcare field since basically forever. I love this little nursery school, and I pour my heart and soul into it. I sure hopes it shows! And while this may not come as any surprise, yes, I am also responsible for the content on this website. 
Nikki Atherton-Kotack, RECE “Miss Nikki”
Preschool Teacher
Miss Nikki walked through our doors in November 2011, looking for a supply position, for a “little while”. Mrs. T knew she was a keeper from the first, and plotted to keep Miss Nikki well beyond the “little while” she’d talked about. She quickly became Mrs. T’s full-time partner in the preschool class, where she still is today. HA! So much for “little while”. She can’t leave. Ever.
In addition to being irreplaceable in the preschool class, Miss Nikki is also our very capable second-in-command.
Amanda McKenzie “Miss Amanda”
Preschool Assistant Teacher
We first met Miss Amanda (it’s “Mrs., but the children dubbed her “Miss Amanda” and it stuck!) when her oldest child attended Bronte Harbour. After both of her children completed their time in our hallowed halls, and moved on to “big school”, we decided to keep their mom with us. She’s been a wonderful addition to our team since January 2020, and we’re going to keep her forever and ever.
Litenie Remigio, RECE “Tenie” (rhymes with penny)
Toddler Teacher
Tenie joined our team in September 2021 and she quickly made herself at home here at Bronte Harbour. She has become a valuable asset to our toddler room, and a valued part of our team of teachers. Welcome to the team, Tenie! (We generally don’t let our teachers leave, so you’re kind of stuck with us!)
Amanda Kassam “Mrs. Kassam”…also answers to “Kassam” and “Sam”!
Toddler Assistant Teacher
Mrs. Kassam joined our Toddler team in September 2018, after impressing the daylights out of Mrs. T at her interview. We knew she would be perfect for our toddler room, and we were right! (I was right. And I LOVE when that happens!) We have no intention of letting her get away! She is an invaluable member of our team and is universally adored by all. She can’t ever, ever leave.
You won’t find teachers better than the staff of Bronte Harbour! We love our little centre, and all of “our” children, and it shows. Come and meet us in person…we’re kind of fantastic!
